With 2024 coming to a close, I'd like to go over some of what I consider to be important highlights for the channel. I originally intended for this to be in video form, but I can't be asked at the moment.
- At the start of the year, I released episode 1 (and so far the only episode) of The Century Wars, a slightly dumb, slightly serious GoAnimate series. I don't know if I'll get back to it or not, really.
- Then, after a bit of nothing, March rolled around, and GG, Moth, and Red made their full debut in my playthrough of Mark Kaminari's GZDoom game, Mark Clayton. This is what I consider to be the genesis of NVfNP as it's known today.
- In June, after another period of nothing, the first videos in the Gmod Map Playthrough series were uploaded (starting with the one just below), and Lux became a member of the group.
- In July, we tackled a map called Psyko in Sven Co-op, began a Terraria LP (that's still unfinished) and breezed through Half-Life 2 Calamity in the Lambda Gamemode for Garry's Mod.
- In August, I read a needlessly dragged out mess of a Teletubbies 'feelspasta' or something, and hated every bit of it. I also tried to record a certain Gmod map playthrough, but things went haywire pretty quickly.
- In late September, I ripped the notorious content farm channel BENJIxScarlett a new one. Several, actually.
- In October, Karl became a member of the group. I also gave my thoughts and opinions on a mod for Doom 2 touting itself as a superior Doom 3... and quickly got laughed at by a good chunk of the net for my blunders. Additionally, Mark Kaminari told me that I can't play Rise of the Triad, so I started a series where I play Rise of the Triad to prove him wrong.
- In November, I began my Duke Nukem 3D LP, as well as a Minecraft Bedrock one with GG and Moth.
- In December, I beat Duke 3D and set my sights on The Ultimate Doom immediately afterwards. I also played Alien Repudiation, which sucked a lot, and Nuclear Winter, which sucked a little bit less.
That's pretty much all the highlights I can think of off the top of my head. I might have missed something. Either way, thanks a bunch for giving us a watch here in 2024. We've had a great year, and we're looking forward to what's on the road ahead.
Happy New Year!
