Good evening, readers. Today is November 25th, which means it's GG's 17th birthday!
As she probably mentioned on video at some point, she's gotten a PS5 (or, will get a PS5 soon) along with a few games: Sonic X Shadow Generations (of course), Dragon Age: The Veilguard, and Helldivers 2.
Initial celebrations took place in Minecraft Bedrock, where Moth and I gathered the ingredients to make her a cake. Well, they gathered the ingredients, while I stood around like a bellend in typical Slap fashion.
Moth also ate a pufferfish, which was amusing.
Other gifts GG received include this rather fitting shirt:
And this cheese hat from her aunt in Wisconsin:
(Edit 12/01: Fuck you Discord for making the images break.)
Overall, I'd say her birthday's been pretty happy. I hope you folks reading this wish her a happy birthday as well.
What's Next?
Rise of the Triad
Business as usual for ROTT. I haven't heard many good things about E2A3: The Room or E2A5: Rocky Plateau, so that should be an interesting experience.
Duke Nukem 3D
I'm kinda bored with using DOSBox, so what I've decided to do is switch to the xDuke source port. Would've gone with EDuke32 or Rednukem, but those have been giving me some really weird issues. JFDuke3D is also out of the question because the music volume slider won't do anything, and it's really loud. xDuke works the best for me. It hasn't been updated since 2010, sure, but it has the essentials, and hasn't caught fire on me yet. Below is a short test video. (Update 12/01: xDuke acts funny when I alt-tab because it doesn't unregister the alt afterwards when I get back in, and pressing enter makes it fullscreen. Oh well.)
Garry's Mod
No clue what I'll be doing next. I'll be keeping an eye on the workshop for maps.
Sven Co-op
Still off the table until further notice.
Synergy?
When the time comes, I say it'll be in reach. As many may know, Half-Life 2 was made free on the week of its 20th anniversary, and now the rest of NVfNP has it. Problem is, Synergy hasn't been updated since 2015, so getting things to work might prove to be troublesome.
The Binding of Isaac Multiplayer
I have recordings of me and GG playing the multiplayer mode in the newly released beta of Repentance+, and it was quite insane. I'll definitely be releasing those in the future.
Terraria
Minecraft Bedruh [sic]
We've done quite a bit of stuff off camera. I'll show all that off the next time we play while on call.
That's all I have for tonight. Happy birthday, GG!
